Thank you for choosing to teach at Bloom Haven. We are honored to host your class and support your creative work. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience for both educators and guests. The following guidelines help ensure clarity, consistency, and a positive environment for all.
Compensation
Compensation for classes will be determined prior to booking and confirmed in writing.
Compensation may be structured as:
- Hourly rate
- Per student rate
- Or another agreed-upon structure
All compensation terms must be agreed upon in advance of the event.
Retail & Class Materials Policy
To help create the best experience for all guests at Bloom Haven, on-site retail sales are not permitted during retreats or educator-led events.
Class Preparation & Communication
- Final class details, supply lists, and student requirements must be provided in advance
- Educators are responsible for ensuring students are prepared
- Any special setup needs must be communicated prior to arrival
Space Use & Respect
- Please respect the Bloom Haven space, equipment, and furnishings
- Leave the space in the same (or better) condition as it was found
- All trash, scraps, and materials must be cleaned up at the end of class
- Report any damages immediately
Professional Conduct
- Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and encouraging environment
- Start and end classes on time
- Provide a positive and welcoming experience for all guests
Bloom Haven reserves the right to address any behavior not aligned with these expectations.
Student Experience
Educators are expected to:
- Provide clear, organized instruction
- Be prepared and ready to teach at the scheduled time
- Offer assistance to ensure all participants feel supported and successful
Marketing & Promotion
- Bloom Haven may assist in promoting your class
- Educators are encouraged to promote their classes as well
- Any use of the Bloom Haven name, logo, or branding must be approved in advance
Instructor Promotion Policy
- Educators are welcome to share general information about their work and creative offerings
- Promotion of upcoming classes, events, or retreats at other venues during Bloom Haven events is not permitted
- Distribution of flyers, handouts, or direct marketing for outside events is not allowed during class time
- Any exceptions must be approved by Bloom Haven in advance
Bloom Haven is happy to collaborate with educators on future classes, events, and retreats hosted within our space.
Educator Cancellation Policy
- If an educator must cancel, Bloom Haven must be notified as soon as possible
- Educators may be responsible for assisting in finding a replacement instructor if applicable
- Repeated cancellations may impact future booking opportunities
Insurance (If Applicable)
Bloom Haven reserves the right to require proof of liability insurance for certain classes or events.
Liability & Responsibility
- Educators are responsible for their own materials and tools
- Bloom Haven is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items
- Educators assume responsibility for the content and instruction of their class
Photography & Media Release
Bloom Haven may take photos or videos during classes for marketing and promotional purposes.
By teaching at Bloom Haven, educators grant permission for:
- Use of images that may include the educator and/or their work
- Use of this content on social media, website, and promotional materials
Acknowledgment & Agreement
By teaching at Bloom Haven, educators acknowledge and agree to abide by these guidelines and expectations.
Bloom Haven reserves the right to update policies at any time to support the operation of the business and the overall guest experience.
